Seems that the Dynasty has finally closed. Doors were loked yesterday and a moving truck was seen. No great loss really IMHO.

Yup, I saw the sign too, but also saw several guys arrive, park, try the door, and get back in their cars. That was on Tuesday early afternoon. Of course you may be correct about a later opening time. Will continue to monitor.

RIP to the Die Nasty. The one thing it had in its favour for me was my work was just around the corner, so on a Friday night after work, I could scoot in for a beer and get an eyeful. It had a great location, too bad it was sort of run half assed at times. Some nice girls, some ugly ones, sort of seedy, and if you weren't careful, you might see something in the parking lot you didn't want to see....
Hojo's apparently has bought up the hotel, will renovate it and make it just a respectable sorta place I would imagine.....

I guess sometimes a place can represent a part of you life and when that place isn't there anymoe if can kind of feel like you lost a piece of yourself.
I get that when I visit Toronto and the area where I used to grow up in. It has changed so much from when I was there. I guess I felt like I lost a part of my youth.
I guess it is a good thing...I was not always teh good boy I am now. Heh Heh Heh

My Question is this then,since the place had been closed,dont the owners still have the licence to operate a SC?? And if so,why dont they open up somewhere else in Oshawa,it seems that once they close,thats it,and I believe the Royal is now the only SC in the Oshawa,Whitby,Ajax area.......
