Nothing puzzling about it.

He is a Russian asset.

Nothing else explains the outright weakness he displays towards Putin. He lashes out at fucking Rosie O'Donnell and Elon Musk over the slightest of slights... yet Putin humiliates him every day and night. And Putin is even cucking 🤭Trump through his own wife Melania.

The cost saving excuse is bullshit. The US military pays its soldiers whether they are sitting in barracks in one the hundreds of bases in the USA or at one of SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY military bases in EIGHTY countries. Not that many are sitting around though... Soldiers are always conducting training exercises and especially with other militaries. It is in their own best interests to train with multinational forces. The annual cost to station a few military personnel in the Baltics doesn't even cover the cost to run a single aircraft carrier for a day.

This is a deliberate strategic move taken by Trump personally. There is NO WAY anyone in the entire US military except "TV Pete" isn't boiling in frustration with this traitorous Presidential order.

Why? Why would Trump open the door to these tiny nations that Putin has long wanted to re-occupy in his (blood) wet dream of reviving the Soviet Union.

Trump is terrified and subservient to Putin. Exactly why, only a few know. 🤷‍♂️

A comment from YT is insightful and is something every military commander will see the wisdom in it.

"You mentioned in this video that Ukraine should be teaching NATO forces how to deal with the Russian airborne threat.

This is my suggestion (not heard this mentioned on any yt channel): NATO should suggest to Ukraine (and make known to Russia), that they will station air defence batteries up to 100km inside Ukraine's boarders with Poland & Romania.

Russia gets very upset at even the suggestion of NATO forces in Ukraine - but last night's events give the perfect excuse for so doing - the reasonable rationale should be seen as a 'gift' from The Kremlin - it's a justifiable reaction to what Russia did - intentional or not.

The other benefit this would provide would be the valuable experience of live reactions to live threats - something every force in NATO currently lacks - where better for NATO to gain the necessary skills, than inside Ukraine under the guidance of those most 'versed-in-the-art'.
