I was curious to see if anyone has started receiving EI yet due to being laid off from covid-19? I applied for EI on march 19th and I still haven't received anything, i only received a paper in the mail last week with an access code on it, the service canada website shows that my claim is under review, it has shown this for a week now, I have found 3 different numbers to call and I can't get in contact with anyone, I am supposed to submit a bi-weekly report on april 3rd but I don't know how to if I haven't received any money yet.
I apply for EI on the Sunday March 22.
I just got my acess code yesterday March 30, 2019. too.
You need to go to the link provided by the mail showing the access code where the sentence says
1: You must submit your bi-weekly reports using access code,
Go to the sentence beginning.

see link on your sheet"!
Enter the link : Type the link exactly in the sheet word for word at the URL location of your web browser then hit enter . It will bring you to a login pages asking for
your SIN and the access code from the sheet provide from EI ( Gov't of Canada).
I got into the Canada website portal , but haven't finished completed the report , because may need some help with the question, it not clear to me. I just want filled up correctly don't want to make a mistake.
PS I not putting the link over here look at your sheet, Don't want scammer to fool you with a fake link!
PPS Don't trust anyone who provide a link to EI here . Reason don't know if there a scammer here who might put a fake link to steal your info especially your SIN. Identity theft!
