BC official believes that it is safe if pure and used properly.

While far fetched man it would be weird to think what it would be like of E was legalized or decriminalized or controlled to ensure purity and safety.

Google ecstasy and BC and you find a number of stories of tained e going around (didn't check dates so not sure if this is a recent thing)

"Legal MDMA" is legal up here, banned in the US. The reason why it is legal is that the substances, mostly herbal are controlled, rather than buying shit on the street. Lesser of two evils.

Are you talking about "herbal e?" I thought that was just marketing ploy and not actually the same..... some of those "legal highs" contain mild stimulants plus caffiene but are not the same as the products they claim to emulate.

I did my fair share in the mid to late 90's, but a had a good source. I witnessed a guy in Cancun leave my resort in a wheelchair from a bad dose. Pretty scary shit if you ask me!

Isn't the problem that when one does it correctly, all is good. But we need to worry about the ones who will over indulge, take it too often. The shit messes with your serotonin levels. And once you do too much you risk permanent damage.

I had a roomate who did it constantly. And the come down was an emotional. angry mess. Think PMSx1000 about every 5 days after the weekend.

I have often wondered why there is not a method in place for people to have their drugs screened to see exactly what chemical/polluted filler is in thir drug. I hear that is available in some european clubs.

that being said I find clubs where people do E a lot less messy than clubs where everyone gets drunk. Less fights, aggression and stupidity.

Actually back in the rave days you could get a drug testing kit that would change colour and tell you purity.

Not sure about the long term effects would have to research.

Yes too many pills is dangerous for anything.

But I think what the Dr was getting at was that the biggest risk to E users currently is the questionable additional ingredients found in the street drugs.

The herbal legal e available in Canada is illegal in the US now. Although I don't recommend anyone taking it, I read the government doesn't want to take any steps to make it illegal like the U.S. did. I am supposing it is to keep kids away from the harmful stuff that kills, that they get on the street.

I am familiar with the testing kits. I ordered one from the US back in the day but recieved a notice from customs Canada that item had been seized. There was a number to call for inquiry but I never called. The three major compounds found in most pressed tablets are MDMA, MDA(synthetic heroin), Crystal Meth. For people that were partying back in 93-95 you may remember the red rockets. It wasn't a 5-10 dollar pill like whats going around today. It was 40-50 dollars for a capsule which amounted a pile of pure MDMA and there were no random dealers, parites had designated dealers and all the dealers had the same shit, which was coming from amsterdam through montreal (no asians in the loop whatsoever). It was a totally different vibe then becasue everybody would be on the same wave length.

Only saw the testing kit on TV in the context of "safe raving" so not sure how available they are. That could be part of the problem.
