BOOM! It is incredible the amount of damage an exploding eCigarette can do to your mouth and surrounding areas. Be careful what you put in your mouth.

Photos are too graphic to post.

What do you bet that someone is looking at how to use these as a way to intentionally harm someone.

They should be banned by Health Canada
One injury, likely caused by someone not following instructions and you want HC to ban e-cigs? Meanwhile smoking kills 37,000 Canadians a year or 100 people a day. You funny!

I've never smoked, regular cigs or e-sigs, but curious if anyone knows the answer to this. Obviously, you can't smoke anything on an aircraft. Will airlines allow e-cigs in your carry on? I hope not....

A good cigar is just a smoke, but an e-cigarette is a bomb??

I would assume not? If they did, that'd be insanely stupid considering the rules about other things which aren't as potentially dangerous.

I for one quit smoking 2 years ago with the help of e-cigs.
I read somewhere the British National Health Service is considering providing e-cigs to those who want to quit smoking.

Carry on is the only place you can have e-cigarettes on a plane because it uses batteries. This is a non-issue, the exploded vapourizer that has caused so much manufactured outrage was ancient technology. It was a mechanical (analogue), no fancy regulating electronics, just a switch that completes a circuit. They're a huge pain-in-the ass to use and require regular calculations, hardly anyone uses those any more.

Darwin friendly.
Speaking of Darwinism, heard on the news yesterday that some seniors still continue smoking even though they are tethered to an oxygen tank. Sometimes the combination of smoking and oxygen causes a fire that kills the senior.

My Godmother was like that. She couldn't stop herself.
Pull the mask away, PUFF, mask back on, repeat. All day for about 10 years that she was on oxygen.
Her line was, "What have I got to lose?"
She was still at a pack a day when she died at, get this, 94.
A High School friend died at 18 from lung cancer and never smoked.

My thought would be more to that of people with bad intentions modifying the e-cig as an incendiary type device. Hey, if the shoe bomb and underwear bomb didn't work, maybe its the next step!
