Worse if it travelled coach. Which means a greater chance that it has infect to others in the airport system who are flying to points unknown.
When it hits a Western city and kills 70% of the people who contract it people will begin to care. It is no long out in remote villages. Major cities. Air travellers. That is far more mobile than it was last time around when it was only in remote african villages.

flight attendants...security..customs all could have touched him...Last time I was in Sierra Leone I was patted down by security...at least 3 times....Following that protocol and if the security patted down all passengers...after the infected person...the potential to cross contaminate rises exponentially....
Then you have the borders..people crossing at non manned border crossings...
This question was also raised when HIV first appeared in North American but it was considered a gross violation of a person's human rights to isolate/quarantine them because they are sick so HIV spread in North America and people died but their human rights were not violated.
