I have never used either one of them so i have a few questions for people who sell on them. 1. Would i be better off having someone elsethat has an account and ecellent feedback to sell what i want to list?Would you buy from someone that just opened an account? What is the best way to accept a payment? What i am thinking of listing is 2 tickets to the Super Bowl if the Bears win this Sunday . I got lucky in the season ticket holder lottery and now i am torn about what to do, Go to the game or make some serious cash.

eBay has plans to acquire StubHub in the very near future. I received this notice by email recently.

Hi everyone – Bill Cobb here to share some exciting news with you. eBay just announced our plan to acquire StubHub, a leading online tickets marketplace with a best-in-class customer experience.
Online tickets is a business that's perfectly suited to eBay – it's all about passionate fans, buying and selling tickets for their favorite teams, entertainment and events. And StubHub is the perfect complement to eBay's large Tickets category business – there's little overlap between StubHub's users and eBay's, and each has expertise to share with the other.

We'll keep you posted on our plans for StubHub in the months to come.

Sincerely,

Bill Cobb

It really depends what you are going to sell. If it's something rare a lot of people won't look at the feedback and take a risk even though they are not familiar with the seller. For example, I often buy Leafs tickets from sellers with 0 feedback simply because it is extremely difficult to find good Leafs seats for sale. In your case, if the tickets are good and there will be a lot of demand, open a new Ebay account and there should be no problems. From buyer's point of view, best way to accept a payment on Ebay is Paypal. A lot of buyers won't bid if you don't accept Paypal. However, from seller's point of view I would say cash or money order are the best because you don't pay any fees that way but again most buyers like Paypal because it's convenient for them and they are protected in case they don't receive anything. The worst thing about Paypal is that they are always protecting buyers, a lot of people are complaining about them :(

If the Bears win Sunday i get to buy 2 tickets to the Super Bowl from the Bears for1200. There are not alot of tickets yet on ebay but the ones that are there are going from 4 to 10 grand a pair. Stub hub had them at about 3500 apiece.Out of curiousity i called one of the ebay autioneers which was a broker and he offered 4500 for a pair of the worst seats in the house. so that would be 3300 profit as soon as the tickets hit my hand. one thing i noticed also was on some of them if you use pay pal you were only covered for 2000 if you were a buyer and something went wrong.LETS GO BEARS
