Turn off the lights for an hour tonight and think about how global warming is real or a hoax or you don't care. :frusty:

I've never been able to observe Earth Hour, as I am always at work during that time, and no lights out there. Due to the nature of the business it's not possible. But my wife and daughter always go dark at home.Turn off the lights for an hour tonight and think about how global warming is real or a hoax or you don't care. :frusty:

Sorry to ruin your fantasy however a single candle would generate several thousand times the pollution that a 100 watt bulb would generate...I do it every year. Any excuse for candlelight!
I like electricity, but not the dirty ways we often create it. We haven't figured out how to deal with nuclear waste except bury it, just like we're burying our heads when it comes to knowledge that there is a limit to how we abuse the planet.http://antiearthhour.blogspot.ca/2010/03/earth-hour-demonizes-electricity.html
The whole mentality around Earth Hour demonizes electricity...
i think they forgot to turn their tea kettles offLondon's electical usage went up 2.5% during earth hour lol
I wouldn't go so far as to say that people are demonizing electricity. Electricity is a finite resource that we need to learn to manage better. Do we really need to have all the bank towers lit up at 3 am on Monday morning when no one's there?http://antiearthhour.blogspot.ca/2010/03/earth-hour-demonizes-electricity.html
The whole mentality around Earth Hour demonizes electricity.
Actually, I meant London Ontario lol.i think they forgot to turn their tea kettles off
