my earphones are clogged with earwax is there a way to clean them?

This is a very good question, especially since earplug headsets with noise reduction go for over $100.

So here's what I do: simple solution is to regularly replace the flexible rubber earpiece. However, you can also pop them off and regurlarly clean with a silicon based cleaner or lubricant. Check your wife's medicine cabinet.

This will keep the rubber soft and clean.

Using $100 plus earplugs to remove earwax is a waste of money as well as inefficient. Q-tips™ or your finger and soap both work better at less cost. They both work on the rubber tips as well, and if the latter are not removeable, then you bought the wrong model earbuds.
