I don't understand why these spa owners' are keeping there spas open. it only takes one client to infect one MP, then that MP infects several others.

Some should really call the spa if they felt sick after visiting, you never know!!! From what I know the owner of PA is a very rude and unprofessional lady who apparently constantly tries to scam customers and workers, so I could understand why some mpa are working they are probably pressured into it. Stay safe everyoneI don't understand why these spa owners' are keeping there spas open. it only takes one client to infect one MP, then that MP infects several others.

Let’s not use this review board to judge one another. Some people need the money. Sex workers can't just go to their local EI office.
I wish it was not the case. I mean for some I guess it could also be greed, exploitation of someone else, etc but for many sex workers, it is survival.
I personally don't get it. I will admit. I don't get living pay-check to pay-check either. Not for years on end the way some people do. I know tradesmen who makes $80, 0000+ A year who are so broke and in so much debt, it blows my mind. But they have the newest truck in their driveway and pay hundreds in gas every month to that truck. Some people's priorities are just different.
lets not shake hands with anybody that runs out of toilet paper^^^^^^^^^^^^^this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
but ...but...I'm using broad leaf!!!lets not shake hands with anybody that runs out of toilet paper
I’m sorry, hun... that was meant to be tongue-in-cheek (and not the dirty/fun kind). It's not a judgement. It really is not. And it is not directed to SWs either. Which is why I brought up a different industry.
I'm just saying I can't understand the reality of living that way. I can't understand the thinking. Lots of people can't understand my anxiety of homelessness and hunger. We have lived different lives. But it is not judgement. I assure you. If you knew my posts, I often post about things I don't understand, simply because I don't understand. Just like I have been posting about people exploiting this virus. I don't get people who do that either. It's more just talking out loud, that's all.
They could if they paid taxes. But that's a whole different rant.Sex workers can't just go to their local EI office.
Maybe, self-employed individuals can actually qualify if they register.True but even if taxes are claimed, like some like myself do, we are sole proprietors that usually claim income in a different way and still would not be paying into EI so therefore are not eligible.
Shakenbake beat me to it.True but even if taxes are claimed, like some like myself do, we are sole proprietors that usually claim income in a different way and still would not be paying into EI so therefore are not eligible.
You’re likely one of the rare ones Jessica. If people don’t pay into a government program like EI or CPP why should they be entitled to it?Shakenbake beat me to it.
My more general point is that if sex work was legal, then sex workers could avail themselves of all of the social services like EI, and pensions. We've got a long way to go still.
Tell that to home makers who never worked for a living. You’re likely one of the rare ones Jessica. If people don’t pay into a government program like EI or CPP why should they be entitled to it?
I'm not really sure where you're going with this. Most homemakers certainly do work for a living. They just aren't employed and don't receive a paycheque.Tell that to home makers who never worked for a living.
That’s why our tax system has benefits for married couples ie income splitting. Also comparing homemakers who don’t have income to sex workers who do is nonsense.Tell that to home makers who never worked for a living.
Income splitting for retirees who live that long as couples. What about a widow whose husband died and left no RRSP income? Just asking the hypothetical question. That’s why our tax system has benefits for married couples ie income splitting. Also comparing homemakers who don’t have income to sex workers who do is nonsense.
$2500 CPP death benefit and don't let the door hit you on the way out. It sucks.Income splitting for retirees who live that long as couples. What about a widow whose husband died and left no RRSP income? Just asking the hypothetical question.
Not really. Married retired couples with pension or RRIF income can split. CPP cannot be split. That’s why our tax system has benefits for married couples ie income splitting.
Per year? My mom got squat when my dad died.$2500 CPP death benefit and don't let the door hit you on the way out. It sucks.
One time, and assuming he had been eligible for CPP. If I remember correctly the funeral home took care of the application when my mom died.Per year? My mom got squat when my dad died.
