And speaking of fishing, read this chum?
After posting this really bizarre one-liner this AM, one can surmise that, even at that early hour, papa had too much coffee.

It would have been funnier if he had pulled up one of the refugees from the NO Superdome....

Ok I wil bite. Name one Politician in touch with the needs and views of the average American. Now if they are already an elected official their voting record should prove that.

[HAND GOES IN THE AIR]

Oooh, ooh, oooh, Call on me! Call on me!

I know the answer. It's George W. Bush, our fearless and godly President. I know that because I was told that just about every day for the past 5 years.

Do I get an "A"? :D

Ok... I get it now..... GWB... ever the practical sort figures that since he is down there, might as well get some quality time with dear old dad.... What better way to do it than fishing.. and since the damn place is full of water, and there's a lot of fish food in the city, there's probably some big assed fishes down there.

I was thinking more of a political comic..

Frame 1: GWB and daddy fishing in N.O.
Frame 2: JR thinks he's got a big one and is disappointed when he pulls up a
N.O. Resident
Frame 3: N.O Resident flops around the boat like a fish, at first is happy to
be saved, then realizes who it is... and starts to beg for help for
his friends and family
Frame 4: JR and Sr exchange exasperated looks as the N.O resident tells them
his sad tale... but all Jr and Sr can hear is... blah, blah, blah...

Frame 5: Secret service guy knocks N.O resident unconscious and throws him
overboard
Frame 6: Sr: Says to Jr: "too small son?"
Jr replies: "No daddy, too much mouth and not enough money"

Frame 7: Beautiful sunset framing Jr and Sr craking up over their joke

Glad you enjoyed it... I always wanted to do political cartoons...

I will probably never be a serious basher of any POTUS regardless of their political affiliations..... mainly because I think that being the biggest fish in the pond and wielding the biggest club, can be a very thankless job, and you are bound to make enemies...

However, watching GWB over these past few weeks has really put me off... form some reason, watching him make promises to the people of N.O and other promises just seemed so empty to me... I cannot place my finger on it.

However, it's a thankless job that he has and there are some 7 or 8 billion critics out there. Unfortunately, it really does make Americans look bad...

Ted Kennedy and Dennis Kucinich.
Need more.

That's such a bogus argument, paps.
We're to set here and take it, I presume.
When the Ds are in office I presume you will argue the same point,
right?

Partisan politics leads to lambasting your opponent,
but when its your man on the hot seat then you
argue that all men are created equally out of touch.

You demand the Ds to be responsible.
Then hold your elected Rs equally responsible.

Bush never wants to take responsibility for anything
that goes on during his tenure in office. As I recall
from the last debates he couldn't remember one mistake
he made during his first 4 years.

BOGUS
TED I wish I could swim Kennedy?

Yea
