But..I have found a dealer distributing DTV in Canada so you can order with your Canadian address and a Canadian credit card DTV packages at DTV published prices. (with no commitment for time period....so if a hack does come up..you can cancel)

Fill in form and order whatever packages you want.
His fee are:
1. Annual $US 75 processing fee. (covers US addressing etc and relationship with DTV) charged by Largo Communications
2. US $ 125 one time charge for P5 real card , charged by Largo Communications
3. then regular monthly Direct TV charges. Go to http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/learn/Packages_Comparison.dsp for comparison of the packages and choose what you will.
When you are filling in his form, where it asks where you got your satellite equipment, put "CK SATELLITE".
Your P5 will come in Express Post next day delivery and then you call activation centre (905-477-4476) and the card will be live within a hour or so.
