I can't wait until the season starts and the Leafs get going again. What a long wait for the best sport in the world to get back on the ice! I love the Leafs and always will, there are a lot of great teams this year and i cant wait for the season to get going. yes i still hate the sens and canadiens but thats what adds to it all. Good luck and everyone enjoy the season. Hockey rocks!!! I cant wait until Oct 5th

Hockey is not my favorite sport, but I did miss it. I always did well on Proline and for numerous reasons I'm glad hockey is back. The Leaf's seem to have a below-average team this year but we'll have to see where they stand mid-season.

hasn't looked that way in pre season. and if you think the line managers aren't going to be adjusting the over under numbers to 6 /6.5 and maybe even 7 then you won't want to bet.

well i guess so... the leafs have only scored 7 goals on them so far... and the sens have scored like about 17 against the leafs... who's choking?

Wow way to dig up this old thread when there are lots of Leaf bashing/Sens loving threads out there. And this thread was even a nice one to everyone. Geez and you guys complain that Leafs fans are arrogant, self centred and rude..lol See what winning does to ya? Love the way you have stats at the ready but when Leaf fans throw stats at you guys, you get all defensive and boo hoo hoo. Now that you have the stats, you love it. I understand that but hey it goes both ways. Sens are doing well, Leafs average. See you in the playoffs!

I wouldnt say suck Goober really. I mean they are above 500. not burning up the league (like some other stupid team) but they arent sucking either. Thats the way i slice it. Gotta gimme that. NO?

What is 500 in the new N.H.L
with 20 to 25% of the games [not sure of the %] awarding 3 points.
If you end up with 82 points in 82 games is that 500.
There is a chance a team or teams with 90 points will not make the playoffs
this year.
As for the Leafs as much as it hurts me to admit this I think they
will be around the 82-87 point mark.
A playoff spot will be only a 45/55 chance.
Hope I am wrong but 7 or 8th spot is all I can see for this team.
