Hello! I'm pretty new here, so most of my posts are questions, and this is no different. I was wondering exactly what the job description of an escort driver entails.
I saw a CL post a while back offering a driver job with some unnamed agency, and the requirements were something like "Must have: Car, clean record and license, GPS, phone and car charger, and familiarity of the industry."
At no point in the list does it explicitly say "need to be imposing looking" or "know how to handle yourself" or "can kick down a door", so is that all just in the movies? Or since this is Toronto and 2010 instead of Vegas in 1975, can an escort driver really be just a taxi driver on retainer? The "familiarity of the industry" qualifier does leave an air of mystery open...
Having said all that, I was intrigued since the ad also mentioned a small split of the profits.
