Pay your driver in Jamacian dollars and see if that helps. As you know your beilng late reflects poorly. And to a client the reason you are late is not as important as being notified of the expected delay.shanel19 said:

In other words, when driving.. always try to get paid up front if you do not know the girl, and never extend them credit.

As a driver just like in any other business, sometimes you need to give people the benefit of doubt in order to build a good relationship. However we need to understand we are taking a risk of not getting paid. See my post or my story in the Public Service section.

For point to point transportation services, expect the following as an 'indie' driver (bear in mind these estimations are based on downtown as your starting point and the rates aren't etched in stone):
One way destinations
Downtown: $10 - $15
North York: $15 - $20
Scarborough: $15 - $20
Etobicoke: $15 - $20
Mississauga: $20 - $25
Brampton: $25 - $30
Oakville: $30 - $35
Pickering: $20 - $25
Waiting time is not included in these estimates. They vary, driver to driver. If you plan on charging a wait fee, better be there when the girl comes out. Also, you'll be expected to provide security if and when needed. When I drove many moons ago, I had to deal with some rather interesting circumstances. It was a hell of a lot of fun - not to mention an eye-opener, but definitely not for everyone.
An enterprising driver can earn anywhere from $400 - $1000+ per week, depending upon hours of availability.
A conscientious driver will always have spare condoms, nylons, sponges, etc. in the vehicle (trust me, it saves time looking for a Shoppers Drug Mart at 3 am - you'd be surprised at how many girls are unprepared in moments like this). That always won me major points and serious tips.
An added touch would be to have a cooler filled with your clients' favourite soft drinks. You'll find yourself going through a lot of chewing gum as well - I'm told it has something to do with the latex...
