baci2004 - Your signature is the epigraph to the Great Gatsby, and I was under the impression that Fitzgerald had written this himself, using a psudeonym. Is this not the case? I'm a literature fan, and I'd be interested in knowing if the quote actually has a real source.

I checked it out on the net, I got over 100,000 matches for the search this is the first one I came across "I remember being moved by this poem a long time ago, and it has a
strange backstory, so I was hoping you could include it in your archive.
This poem is presented as the dedication in the intro pages of
Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby". The 'joke' is that D'Invilliers is a
fictional character in Fitzgerald's first novel, "This Side of
Paradise"."
