I find it hard to imagine. Even when things were falling apart with my ex, I wished that she'd love me, not that I could shove her dismembered body into a suitcase.

Ironic eh? He used his actual talent and knowledge of the human spine which in the past he used to heal, now to break his wife's spine and kill her. So twisted. So sick. Humans never cease to amaze and disgust.

While I admit that all indications seem to point at the accused, we'll wait and see what comes out in the trial.

I agree that the entire affair is ghastly.

One thing I don't get is, if he is the murderers, and he is so fucking smart, how come he was so clumsy in what he did? There doesn't even appear to be an attempt to hide his tracks? Just dumping the body at the side of a roadway? In a suitcase? You'd think as a doctor that he would know a hundred different ways to kill her that would be completely impossible to distinguish from a heart attack or a stroke, or whatever. Instead he beats her to death and stuffs her in a suit case and discards the body at the side of a well travelled highway?

Bizarre.

One thing is for sure. It's going to get interesting. On so many levels.

Anger makes people act in irrational ways. If he was blindsided by the divorce, he was probably beside himself with rage.

Let's not forget that he is innocent until proven guilty. We would all want that distinction if we were accused of a crime.
Trial by social media is a bitch. LE is almost always right when they lay charges as they must collect sufficient evidence with almost no margin for error in collecting and presenting the evidence.

That doesn't give him the right to kill her. He may have been a good Dr. but he sure wasn't a man. He was a gutless cowardly murderer. Hope he dies in prison.

Do you really believe that LE is almost always right? Give me a break. Sometimes they collect evidence to see if it sticks. Look at Ghomeshi? There was no real evidence. The women were absolutely not credible (ie lying). But they charged him, and went through this entire charade called a trial to see if they could get him. His character was irrelevant, or many of us would be charged and convicted and spending serious time in jail. And look at Forcillo? He was caught on video, convicted, and still not in jail.

But I digress .....

Absolutely horrible situation and the defendant is certainly entitled to due process but really he's the perpetrator. Statistically the most dangerous time in an abusive relationship is when the victim tries to break up with the abuser.

Some situations are even worse. Sometimes the male (or female) kill the kids.

I know we are all equal before the law, but this guy was/is a superstar neurosurgeon repairing/saving lives.
