American politics has literally become the theatre of the absurd.
The U.S. is slowly beginning to spiral downwards, and these psychopaths are just looting the cash register on the way out.
This no different than Trump's motives for challenging the election results.
Trump Raised $250 Million Since Election To Challenge Outcome—Here’s Where Most Of The Money Will Actually Go (forbes.com)
Not one shred of evidence.
I wouldn't give a shit other than that scum seeps up into our politics and mindset.

Good for Fauci. I'm all for difference of opinions, but Paul was a bit excessive. Even more interesting considering Paul, himself, is a trained physician.

Lemme summarize the ridiculousness of the exchange using a different scenario:

Paul: isn't it true you stabbed that man in the back with a knife ?

Fauci: No, the definition of stabbing is not what occurred, I simply placed a knife in his back by force, that is not stabbing by definition

Paul: that is the definition of stabbing, which you changed as soon as you were accused of it

Fauci: I did not stab anyone

Paul: we have proof of you stabbing the man

Fauci: you dont know what you're talking about, that is not the definition of stabbing

Next time I'm pulled over for speeding I'm just gotta change the definition of speeding lol

Rand Paul [ and Donald Trump] exemplify everything that is wrong with the USA and American politics and why the US is rapidly becoming a nation more to be pitied than to be admired.
The fact that they can be elected really indicates how SICK America has become, and it is getting worse and worse.

Given he is a trained physician, he has a better understanding of issues such as "gain of function"

I can not say one way or the other who is right here
What I do know is "two weeks to flatten the curve " has turned into two years and the govts have created an inflationary monster and a debt monster with the spending on COVID and they are becoming more authoritarian

Definitely not going in the right direction.

It's so weird that it's Liberals who spend so much time talking about a civil war, considering the people who talk about it the most would have no chance in such a conflict. If your strength is your supposed understanding and empathy for other people, you'd think they would be talking about how understanding could bring Americans back together, rather than talking about a war they'd be sure to lose.

Conservatives aren't spending much type ruminating on this. They mostly talk about taking over congress in the fall, based on the demonstrated failure of Dem policies.

The talking head at the end, Brian Cohen, is an idiot.

"Natures vaccine is like the real vaccine, except it's killed hundreds of millions."

What utter nonsense! He's both drinking the cool-aid and dishing it out.

Paul said that people who have had the vaccine have beer immunity. Thats true.

Cohen is claiming that Paul is suggesting people go out to get the virus like the vaccine, and wait to die.

Not what was said.

Cohen is twisting to support his guru, Fauci, who has said kids should wear masks, stay out of school, get vaccines. ALL of which are either hugely harmful or dangerous simply because hey is not proof or long term safety

Fauci simply made recommendation that Trump and many state governor simply ignored. His impact has changed when bidden took office.
According to Rand Paul he also funneled money to the Wohan institute
