I'm trying to plan a date with an sp who is outcall only so I'm looking for recommendations for a decent hotel/motel in downtown Toronto that has short stay rates. I've made a few calls and so far the cheapest that I've found is the Econo Lodge at Jarvis/Gerrard for $79 + tax for a couple of hours... and this is more than I want to pay.

Can anyone suggest a decent downtown hotel/motel that is more in the $40 - 50 range for a few hours... I need a room for a weeknight between 7-9pm. Please pm me if you'd rather not post here. Thanks!

I was talking to friend earlier this week and he works night shift at a hotel downtown. He told me that whenever they get people inquiring about hourly rates they know want you are doing. He used the term "bozo's" and I tried to keep a straight face. Just thought I mention that since you were calling around, the hotel knows what your really inquiring about.

...and the hotels don't really like it because they know they have to spend money on cleaning the room, etc. They're particularly sensitive about the bed sheets.

Hi Remy, thanks for your response. I realize that it's a long shot to find a decent hotel/motel downtown that has short stay rates but I'd like to think that there must be some place that can accommodate me... perhaps one of the ladies on here can make a suggestion...

I know that there are several motels in the Dundas/427 area that are within my price range and normally, that's where I'd go but the particular sp that I'm trying to make plans with prefers downtown so that's why I'm hoping to find a suitable place that's around $40-50 for a couple of hours.

If you give a damn what the hotel staff think, ask them if they have a day rate because you're holding a series of interviews for sales positions that day. Companies use hotel rooms for interviews all the time, especially when you don't want people to know you're considering jumping ship.

Thanks for the suggestion Hangman. Most hotels that have day rates are between 10am - 3pm so it's more difficult to find a place that offers those short stay rates for a few hours for in the early evening which is the timeframe that I'm looking at.

You never know. Someone may know of a place that meets your requirements. But it sounds like your requirements are very specific and hard to meet. Have you asked the lady in question if she would consider booking a room and doing a day of incall? Good luck finding what you are looking for.

try motels on kingston road manor motel kingston rd and brimily under $40.00 for sure
That's what I mean. That's nowhere near downtown, although the price is right. He may get lucky, but judging by the lack of response, the parameters he has set cannot be met. Day rates are okay, but he can't go during the day. Overnight rates are okay in the 'burbs, but it must be downtown.
