Hello, can someone tell me the best place to park near the Courtyard Downtown Toronto Hotel? They don't seem to have parking there and only offer vallet... I will be there on the weekend if that helps with the rates, location, etc...

The Courtyard is Yonge and College I believe, so quite a walk from City Hall.

There is a public lot on Yonge at Gerard, about a block south of College. Like all downtown parking, you will pay for it, but it's probably the cheapest in that area. There is limited street parking around, but you have to search and check the signs for how long you can leave the car. Might not be worth the hassle if you are staying for the weekend.

I am getting the feeling that TO parking is expensive... so $20 for vallet with in/out downtown is decent then?

Really Retired.....REALLY!
If you pull into the driveway of the Courtyard Downtown you will notice that there is a small public lot just behind the fence.
I think parking there is about $10, and it is a 20 ft walk to the hotel.

my parking situation is simple. theres LOTS & LOTS and its free overnite. :)

parking in downtown has always been a nightmare but the city parking lots even tho expensive, are quite useful.

happily I no longer have this problem. [was not looking forward to paying $200/month to park my wheels]
