Moron does "donuts" at intersection at Yonge and Dundas, plenty of cars and pedestrians on the streets. Unfortunately he got away from police.
He'll be facing numerous charges when caught (people were taking videos of him)

With all those videos no licence plate?
It was one of those newer plates that nobody can read.

I just wanna know how the hell he got away from the cops when they were literally just a few feet behind him

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was about someone giving out free donuts. A nice gesture but not safe at the moment.

They often don't chase people anymore. Especially on downtown streets. Drivers will often run red lights when chased and that's when serious collisions happen. Nobody was injured in the stunt and I bet they already have his plate number. Just a matter of time before they catch him.

The cops heard “ donuts “ on the radio and they were there in a flash.

It looked totally set-up. Notice there were cars blocking traffic and 4-5 guys filming? It was a group effort, like the mass bikers taking control of roads.
There were probably blockers ready to thwart the police chase.

One person arrested and currently undergoing a 72-hour assessment at CAMH. Afterward they'll be released to TPS and charged, per Steve Ryan on CP24.

He's looking at a lengthy license suspension plus a rise in monthly insurance to probably around $1,000 (similar to a DUI)

We all do stupid things when we were young & regret it later. After coming home from a job site when I was just finishing highschool three of us stopped at a bar friday after work & when we left two hours later I started doing donuts in the parking lot in a brand new company truck (it was winter) & we hit a hydro pole...we broke the pole & killed the power to the joint! There were some pretty pissed off people coming out of the bar & my dad was more than pissed off when he seen the truck the next morning...that was my first time getting fired
