remember those signs posted around ottawa

http://www.dont-hold-back.com/

from their myspace page...
ou may have seen the signs, you may have seen the CTV, CBC, A Channel, newspapers features on the project, or you may have heard from a friend. Non the less it is out! Don't Hold Back, The Story Of Jarvo is like nothing we've seen before. Based on a script, soon to be made into a feature film, this cd thrusts listeners into the shoes of Jarvo Anderson. It combines sound effects, real life recording and jarvo's narration, to set the scene for the colourful music and lyrics to take over and throw you into a world you have never experienced and yet is all too familiar to personal moments you've had. The story is followable and yet not shoved down your throat. You can take it in like watching a good movie where you create the visuals, or you can skip to your favourite track and let the music help you experience your life. Regardless of how you use this cd to escape, the journey will leave you moved and inspired. Mastered by Grammy award winning "The Mastering Lab" and written by Ottawa natives Tyler and Brandon Hynes this project, which will eventually turn out a dvd featuring music videos for each track running together like a short film, has never been done before. Following will be the release of the Documentary exposing the making of the entire project from conception to hours of studio sessions to video making, promotions and interviews. And of course this will all pay off with the grand finale, the movie! All mediums will play off eachother and intertwine to give you one story in a way you've never felt or seen. The cd is available in HMVs and other cd outlets. Other products and more information is available at www.dont-hold-back.com.Enjoy

As already stated above, this thread is certainly in the wrong forum.

As Mr. Trump would say .... "You're fired!"

Sorry, but I just couldn't resist that one ...

First of all Jasmine was asking a question, which for all we knew, was related to the purpose of this forum.

You appear to be trying to sell DVD's or CD's complete with a cheesy sales pitch. This is probably unwelcome anywhere, but there is a section for buying and selling on this board.

Third if you were just trying to answer Jasmine's question, why not reply to her original thread since you obviously know it exists. If you had done that probably no one would have said anything.

Fourth, Jasmine is an established member and a paying advertiser on this board, her purpose for being her is understood. So ya, there is more leeway for off topic discussions. deal with it.

k, just for the record. i am not selling anything.
i would never associate my name with a website that cheesy.

i suppose i'm sorry for posting a new thread in this forum, and the best thing would have been to just reply to the original thread.

on the flip side, i'm almost positive that jasmine (and everyone else in this forum) knew that posters slapped up all over the city in an aggressive attempt at guerilla marketing was certainly not advertising anything related to the purpose of this forum.

so once again, i'm sorry, but seriously...

personally, my original reply was not meant to be offensive at all, it was more of a joke and a chance to call shill which happens all the time here... now i feel like a true terbite... haha

i know what you mean...

in addition to the number of our posts, our terb history should include how many times we've called 'shill' .. that is the true measure of terb dedication :p
