As far as I know tsunami is the name in Asia, here known as tidal wave. Just like Typhoon & Hurricane.
CNN ran a story, national hurricane center is not ruling out a big one like the 1938 Hurricane. To strike the NYC area with water between 9-20 ft.

It's low probability but Allstate stopped accepting new poperty coverage for the area and stop renewals. I knew about New England area as potential but 1st time someone seriously considering lower Manhattan & Queens.
We don't get the extreme weather up here. Folks in Carrib & Asian put up with this stuff all the time. We're not in the mindset of keeping food & supplies around and mentally prepare.

Is this your idea of joke! I guess you missed my post a few weeks back showing the devastation a spring storm left in it’s wake. We are still trying to get our lives back together.
