I bought a brand new Garmin Nuvi 660 on November 18, 2006
It worked really well for about 7 weeks then it stopped working.

I took it back to Radioworld. They told me that it would have to go back to Garmin for repair. They have had the unit since January 15, 2007, almost 6 weeks and they keep giving me the run around.

Tim, Manager Retail Department told me that Radioworld will call me when the unit is returned to them by Garmin.

I called Garmin's Customer Service and they have never even heard of Radioworld. Garmin told me that they do not have units in service from Radioworld.

It looks like I am out $1,024.86

Dude, you got seriously fucked in the ass.

Didn't you get some kind of receipt (document) or confirmation number stating that you sent the item in for repair?

Would it be worth to even take them to small claims court to settle the matter?

Got a call today from Tim @ Radioworld. They are willing to give me a loaner until mine comes back from repair. The loaner actually belongs to one of the owners who is willing to give it up for a while.

Tim's attiitude was 100% different since the last time I spoke to him. Last time he was telling me that they cannot do anything and I just have to wait until Garmin fixes my unit and returns it to me.

Today he apologized and offered me the loaner. I just wish that I received this type of customer service from day one. Radioworld may be a good place to buy electronics but after this experience I probably will not go back to them.

Now, I wonder of someone at Radioworld is on this site?
