I remember wathcing them with the Oakville Rangers during their bantam season. They had a great team which ended up losing to the Toronto Red Wings in the provincial final. Bolland, who was first round pick and a member of the Canadian WJC team last year, was on the Red Wings team.

Just watched the Donati with St. Mike's against Guelph Storm on Friday and both he and his team were awful. Lost 3-2 to a bad Storm team and were outshot 44-13. Donati (#81 I think) was a non-presence. In a one game snapshot? He was nothing special. Same goes for Bobby Ryan the second overall pick by Anaheim after Crosby that draft year. He plays for Owen Sound, is a yankee, and is non-existent this year.

-named player of the week recently with 8 points in 2 games (4 points in each game)
-the guy is 'Jonathan Toews-like' on shootouts this season
-he is a force on the power play with 38 points

He was not on the USA world junior team because of political bullshit. He turned his back on the Under-18 team a couple of years ago but USA didn't have much of a choice but to select him for the 2006 team. It would make them look pretty stupid not to select the #2 overall pick for their team.

He may not be NHL-ready right now, but this kid can play.

I've seen him 4 times in the past two years. Three times vs. Guelph and once vs. Kitchener. Lost all four times. He doesn't warm up with the team and wanders the ice by himself for 10 minutes then leaves before the warmup is done. Seems like a very selfish player. In the games I saw this year he has no goals. He seems like nothing but a floater and does not play the body in any way. In fact, he shys away from danger (e.g. corners).
