Dominican Republic...

Has anyone had any action in the Dominican - in particular Punta Cana? Would appreciate any info that anyone may have to offer on this - will be going there in the next couple of months.

It appears Punta Cana is the not the best destination.

Sosua, Puerto Plata, Boca Chica, Santo Domingo ($$) seem to be preferred.

I just booked today for the DR. I am staying betweeen Sosua and Caberete-great windsurfing. Last time I stayed near - Puerto Plata - great country!! I imagine you'll have a good time no matter where you go there
