Anyone buying Dogecoin??? If so, whats a legit site to buy from??

Dogecoin made front page of Drudge Report today. Could become serious competition to Bitcoins

I was like you yesterday.

This is how far I got.

I tried downloading Binance but wouldn’t process my CC. Maybe high volume. Also they need to verify you.

you can also check here

I still don’t own any doge but I also searching and thought I’d share my progress.

Please post when you know a good method.

Thx
This is what I'm worried about, Coinsquare and Newton want too much private info.
They want your address, phone# and 2 pieces of government ID.
Thats a hacker's dream come true. Way too risky!

I agree. This is why I didn’t pursue this further until I understand the risks.

The other app I found was Bitbuy but they ask for the same pieces of ID
I tried a bunch of other ones but they all want ID too.

Fuck it, I'm not gonna take the risk

Get the Shakepay app, but the reviews are terrible for customer serivce.
They do require your ID, takes a day, maybe more because of the volume of people wanting in on this new online casino called dogecoin. lol

I wouldn't recommend dogecoin now, but if you wanna have fun and love to get stressed out, go for it. A friend was in it and got out, he said it was way too stressful to watch it fluctuate the way it did and he's a very athletic, 6'4 black guy that can dunk a ball with the ferocity of Zion Williamson. But Dogecoin got to him. 😂

So I did it with NDAX.IO.

Super easy to set up verify and transfer money. They were even recognized for direct transfer in my bank so no security questions needed. The transfer was instantaneous
How much ID did they require from you before you could sign up??

It will probably take 2 days. Took me 2 for coinbase.
So maybe different for other apps.

Just watch that 1st video. You e-transfer it to your account with specific instructions . Within 5mins the money shows up. It also says this company is recognized and you don’t need a secret question/answer part with my particular bank and that’s why it is almost instantaneous with money transfer. They stopped allowing people to buy with their CCs. I called the CC companies the other day to confirm this.
I watched the video where they go over the service fees for withdrawing your money.
They have a $25 flat fee, and a 10% withdrawl fee for dogecoin, is that right??

EDIT: never mind, I see it here: https://ndax.io/fees

I wouldn’t touch that shit with a 10 ft pole.

Remember stick with legit sources that are qualified and meet some regulations. If the fee is low or now fee you are the product.

Those Bitcoin ATM machines have really high fees for both buying and cashing out. When I looked at them years ago there was a capped limit on your daily withdraw. If Bitcoin was dropping and you wanted to cash out, your screwed .

I still don’t understand how Elon thinks this could be the future currency. His explanation is faith loves irony. Although there is always something deeper and cryptic behind everything he does and says. Are we missing something here?
My take on it:

Dogecoin traded pretty low. ELon buys into it, pumps it up with his massive social media following, dumps it. It's pump and dump, but legal.

Thats correct, so long as you're not making statements that are false to pump up a stock, you can pump & dump all you want.
All Musk did was suggest people buy Dogecoin, nothing false or illegal about that tweet

I don't think Elon had any himself (or maybe his friends or relatives did )

Elon just likes playing around and influencing the market. to me, it's unacceptable.

I know people should be doing their due diligence, but Elon is smart enough to know that people will take him literally.

if he really believed in Dogecoin, Tesla would have bought that instead of Bitcoin.

his tweet was simply a joke but unfortunately many took it as a real endorsement.

Elon is using it as a distraction tactic to take the kids attention off silver. That what he really wants and needs.

This is a beauty of "coins" - they are not stock and the stock market rules does not apply to them. You can say/do anything, manipulate their price as you wish - there is no regulations.
