Mirror Universe
This movie (early to mid 90's) popped in my head and was wondering if anyone knows the name (it has been bugging me not being able to remember it)

Basicly a scientist (who is white) builds some sort of device where he goes into a parallel universe. Something about the space in between atoms. In this alternate universe there is a sort of reverse racism, where whites are discriminated against by blacks. That's all I remember.

And no, it wasn't an episode of sliders.

In a very dark place
There is so much I could say in this thread but I will speak volumes by letting each of you imagine just what it could be. :D

Any idea who was in it? Also, comedy or drama?
it was a drama. The scientist ends up in this universe with some friends/co-workers where one of them gets killed shortly after arriving

Twilight Zone Episode

I remember it too and just as he would be killed or nabbed.........he would revert to another prejucial sterotype...........who was being hunted.

Nazi Germany ................Vietnam being hunted by VC.........then in bar in America.

It was used in schools for Patterns of Prejudice.....excellent. Check Library

White Man's Burden?
I remember that movie, but it not that one. Though it is very similar (I looked up the plot on imdb.com) But one of the parts I do remember is it does involve a scientist, and some friends who all of sudden find them selves in this alternate world. So at first they don't know what is going on. White Man's Burden involves a factory worker, not a scientist.

But thanks steeler, I know that this was a similar movie to the one I'm trying to remember, but at least I know which parts don't belong to the one I'm thinking of.

I think it might be part of Twilight Zone the Movie?

If it's the movie where he ends up in Nazi germany and Vietnam.

It was on either Scream, or Space a few weeks ago.

Of course this is assuming this is the movie you were referring to and I'm guessing at the title.

No, I don't think it was a twilight zone ep. I do remember the scientist near the beginning explaining his device. Something about a theory, (which I believe is true) about how there can be infinite number of alternate universes existing between atoms. And since there out of sync with our reality we cant see them, but we do co-exist at the same time with them, and he makes a device to go to one of those universes.

But the more I'm thinking of it, the more I think it could have been a movie of the week. Then I'm just getting confused with trailers of White Man's Burden, and thinking that it was in theathers.

But thanks everyone.

It is not so much a theory as an interpretation of Quantum Theory. Here is an explanation.
