I've been scammed a couple of times by webcam girls on Twitter. After the etransfer is done they ignore you, block you or give you some excuse. Didn't lose much but lesson learnt.
Never did a deposit for a SP/MA. If she's well established then an amazon gift card to a discrete email is something I might consider. Some guys cancel last minute and ruin it for the rest of us. The ladies also have expenses to cover. However would never send a deposit to an unknown on Leolist etc.

I've done it with a couple of local SPs that I trust {don't ask; they don't want it disclosed}. I'm a single guy, though, so I don't worry about SO discoveries.

I have accepted, etransfers as a form of screening and as a deposit if there has been a cancelation prior.

However:
I have a pretty well known reputation for being the real deal, I have well established social media accounts, and reviews from senior board users so idk.

Do what you are comfortable with.

Always do your research - does she have a website, reviews, social media platforms (Twitter?)

I usually offer only options for deposits - paypal and amazon.ca which are both discreet. I advise no providers to be using their personal bank accounts with EMT

Privacy, financial risk and the emotions of getting ripped off are all factors.

So it seems if it is a reputable provider and you have no concerns on privacy/discretion or you use bitcoin or similar....maybe, if no other choice is available?

All others - not.

I assume if it is a provider you have a positive history with, there is no need.

And on LeoList it is likely to be a scam. Stolen pics and a distant area code aren’t good signs

If you send deposit make sure the lady is well reviewed and has a social media following and website for the least. A lot of guys will say no don’t do it but remember, farrr more guys have been ripped off full amounts by handing random sps cash, than reputable sps running off with your deposit.

I sent a Starbucks latte as a deposit and when I arrived at the incall I found an empty cup! Lesson learned, never again! It will be a small Tim's only from now on.
