does absence make the heart grow fonder?

Yes. Trust me on this. I have experience. But absence can only be endured if there is hope and reasonable assurance that one day the absence will come to an end.

It depends ...

I'm getting heart pangs for a certain someone special. But on the flip side, I know if I see her more often, it may be too much of a good thing.

But yes, to a point (as Sara mentioned) absense does make the heart grow fonder. Which is a good point in time to step back and ask yourself why you find yourself missing that special person in your life. The answer may surprise you. (Or it may not.)
