I hated the sessions but I thought Helen Hunt looked great naked.
What didn't you like about The Sessions?

It's a humane film about a polio survivour who wants to lead as normal a life as possible. I thought it was brilliant and John Hawkes carried the film.

John Hawkes is an incredible actor, Jennifer Lawrence owes a huge debt to him.

After The Sessions, John Hawkes ended up in traction. Like the Soup Nazi, he suffers for his art.

Why didn't I like the movie? It was just really Hollywood. They make the husband character a jerk. Too obvious. Main character had to get a religious figure to give him the thumbs up on him having sex outside of marriage. I had an eye ache leaving the theatre from all my eye rolling. This is the original article which the movie was based on: http://thesunmagazine.org/issues/174/on_seeing_a_sex_surrogate?page=1
It's very different than the movie.

Two sex workers have an interesting discussion about the movie here: http://titsandsass.com/the-sessions-2012/

So what else in new?

The movie has to be sold to the general public of course they are going dramatize facts. It's a far more relevant film than Silver Linings Playbook which was a sequence of improbabilities. Sure if a less gifted actor than Bill Macy had played Father Brendan it would have generated greater schmaltz. With such a challenging subject the end product was wonderful. But I'm biased, huge John Hawkes fan.
