Not really. Odds are ridiculously slim. You can usually tell if a condom has broken and its harder for a guy to get it from a woman than vice versa, so a few seconds of busted condom (which hasn't happened to me in years), isn't that much to stress over. Odds are the girl is clean anyhow. Yes there is risk but its too small to be on my mind. I worry more about getting herpes from DATY. That also has not happened. Oddly, I worry more when I go down on a civilian woman than on an SP. No rational reason for that, mind you.

Only way to avoid AIDS 100% is to get married to a woman who will never stray. Even then, how do you know she doesn't stray? So I guess the only way to 100% avoid it is to be celibate.

I'm not too worried about STDs, but then I avoid DATY and BBBJs like the ... uh ... plague. In fact, I rarely do FS at all (mostly because, when it comes to a paid service, I find even an average massage more relaxing and enjoyable than FS). I think I worry about crabs more than anything else, just because they would be extremely difficult to explain to my SO.

I agree with the above statements. Also though, I am extremely rigourous in screening the ladies. I would not touch 99% of them in Ottawa, perhaps 100% of them on craigslist. If I ever wound up with a lady and there was the slightist hint that she was not clean and careful I would walk out, and have done so. Bad smells, as some of you guys have reported, are an indication of carelessness, bad hygiene and lack of concern for the client. Message there--get the hell out.

I worry more about gonorrhea and clamydia, which can both be transmitted girl to guy during oral sex. So I always use a condom (unlubricated or flavoured).
