Do you find yourself measuring worth of things based on an hour with an SP?

A week ago, I went to a charity casino and blew $120 at the tables. The funny thing is that you can't even redeem your winning money with anything worthwhile because you have to actually "bid" on stuff. So your winnings are pretty worthless.

I thought to myself, damn I could have spent that on 30 min with a provider....

Yes and it's a good way to think. Often I will think that money could've been better spent with an sp. Likewise, many times I feel fantastic when I spend money on things other than SPs. For example $120 buys a full week of fast food dining.

'Yes'.

I recall once buying a dress shirt costing 250 and feeling panic the next morning, then realizing I spend that much on a single session without hardly a thought.

Out being curious
All the time...i usually compare anything over $200 to time with an SP (anything less is compared to a bottle of my fav booze) i spent a good chunk of change on veld tickets this wknd and said aloud "def worth more than an hr"..

Anything over $400 i compare it to a casino nite...

Yep, all the time "That brake job cost me 3 hours of fun", for example. Funny thing is, I used to think in terms of electronics. "I could have bought a 50 inch Plasma for the cost of those snowtires", for example.

This happens, good time or bad. Think of all the good stuff you could buy!

No, I just think in terms of dollars and cents. There are many things you could benchmark to.

You know you're priorities are mess up if you start comparing the cost of necessities like groceries, gas or hydro to an hour with an SP.
