How do you know that you hit middle age crisis? If you experienced the so called crisis, what was it?
If you're young person can you do something to prepare for that age related crisis? Again...just curious:)

Yes, I believe in it. It's happening to me and a whole lot of my friends. It's strangely obvious. Not at all subtle as I expected.

It happens sometime in your 40's when you realize that time is running out and you begin to question your life decisions. You could have a perfect life (in some cases happily married with kids) and still question whether you've made the right career decisions or whatever.

My plan is to stay reasonably immature for life. Maybe around 70 I'll go back to extremely immature. No crisis needed.

Bingo, me exactly. Started thinking "I'll never kiss / screw another girl" so slowly worked my way into the hobby. Then thought "I'll never experience new love", so had an affair. Didn't help anything - was fun while it lasted though!

Don't seem to have a desire for the new car kind of thing though - more experiences I'm thinking I'll never have again that get me.

Have not yet had an adult relationship or kids to feel locked in or the like. So no crisis in the traditional sense.
