Here
University of Phoenix advertises quite heavily on the 'Net.

Isn't MIT offering free internet courses ?

Well, depending what kind of MBA you are looking for, different schools offer different specializations.

For one thing I know the University of Guelph has a really good distance learning program. It has won numerous awards. But for their MBA, they only offer hotel and food administration/management, something labor management, agricultural economics and various other stuff.

York and Western are among the best for an MBA but I don't know if they offer it in distance education format.

Good luck,

sd

Which schools?

Sheesh, dave, I have no idea where you get your info from!

I've got a York MBA and let me tell you...the best schools are Toronto (Rotman) and Western. Queen's is pretty good too. Forget York!

Nah ... I don't think so. It just seems like U of T is not what it used to be.

I think the premier university of Canada is still McGill, and UBC is definitely on the rise.

BTW, what do you think of Anne-Marie Green on CityTV? She's hot and a graduate from U of T. Its weird to find hot chicks at U of T ... but she's definitely one of them ...

Mine was a 'distance learning' MBA. Every other week for 18 months I would fly to Chicago's Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management (one of the best in the world) to attend classes and complete my course work. I guess that's not was meant here.

Mac Mac Mac.... but I bleed maroon and white and have no clue if they offer an online version of MBA.

Cheap it is not I bet.

Of course cheap usually means a BS school and it not worth the paper it wrote on.

I did an MBA part time and took some online courses while I was travelling for work for a period. The online experience is convenient but doesn't really facilitate learning. It is really self-learning and feels like you're being cheated in a manner since networking is really a big part of the MBA experience.

If you are looking to "check the box" for an MBA or graduate degree, go for it. If you are actually looking for more than paper value, take the time to go to classes.
