Discussion on tips (not standard fee, not extra fees)

I went to 3 different AMP for just basic massage and hj (nothing else), all three of them after paying the regular fees and the hj fee, then I gave them in addition, tips (20 or more). Each of the MAs at the 3 AMPs then said "can you give more?".
I have gone to another non-AMP for same service nothing other than hj, I gave the basic fee + hj fee, and I again gave in addition a tip, the MA, said "you gave too much" and insisted on me taking back the extra additional tips.
What are your experience with tips at MPA and SP?
I don't want to implicate all the MAs, that is why I did not mention the locations nor the MAs' names.

I find it odd that three AMPs all had greedy girls that asked for more tip after a tip over and above the fees. I won't say it never happened to me as I have been to so many but don't recall it if it did. Surely if it happened to me that would be an automatic no repeat.

I've had experience at AMP like you did at non-AMP where she said too much but often I was able to convince them to take the tip. And that made a repeat more likely. I was just an an AMP in the US where the girl went out of her way to thank me for the additional tip above the normal "tip" for the menu choice. Hope she is there next trip ....

I dont usually tip, unless they really impress. Case in point - that Asian masseuse I reviewed a while back, Vanessa. Wow, it's good that I didn't bring any more money than I did, cause I would have just been like "please just take all my money". I need to go see her again

That's bullshit that they would ask for more after you already tipped them. Greedy sobs

I haven't had any AMPs ask for extra tips like that, though it has happened to me once recently at an SC.

I don't think it's any secret that AMPs and SCs these days are feeling pressure from the growing popularity and openness of MAs, so I can see where the pressure might come from to ask for a little more if they haven't had many customers all day.

I get the impression some customers tip MAs very well (on top of the door fee and negotiated fee). I'm guilty of this too, but it definitely doesn't seem to affect future visits in any positive way, and I admit it can even create some ill feelings when the MA doesn't really even acknowledge it in some way (with a genuine thanks, hug, or short note afterwards by email or Twitter).

Agreed on that last part. Last lady I tipped was Taylor Monroe. Before that Betty. Nobody else has every tried to please me in the way I like as those 2 ladies have. Actually Jessy Celeste has hit that benchmark as well come to think of it.

I've never had anyone ask for a tip - I've had more refuse a tip than ask for one.

Like a good restaurant, the better the service, the higher the tip. That being said, I prefer MP's that don't provide a price list but rather you go in, pay the entrance fee and whatever happens in the room deserves a decent tip. Years ago both Michelle's and Maureen's had this policy of "whatever you feel is fair" after the session and I would be fairly generous. Now many places are right up front at how much a session will cost you and advertise "no hidden fees" but you have to wonder how much of that goes to the house and how much to the MA. I those cases, I usually give her a bit extra in the room, usually another $20-$40 depending on how great the session was and many are surprised I offer as most guys think the substantial door fee is all inclusive. A generous tipper gets rewarded in repeat visits trust me.

My ATF Asian MP (now retired) used to do this. It sounds great in theory, but it gets really easy to be too generous when you're in a very pleased state of mind. Similar to why SCs always end up draining the wallet.

Not in my experience, at least if you're referring to mileage. I tend to tip higher than your range, sometimes close to triple digits, and I haven't had anyone cross their own limits on a repeat visit just because of that. Maybe it influences attitude, but much of the time it just seems taken for granted. I still do it though because I do have a soft spot for the girls.
