Disappointment at CMJ

I booked 4:00 P.M. appointment to see one of the Hostess at CMJ east today. When I arrived I was told by the hostess I supposed to meet that they were overbooked and there was no room available. This thing is not supposed to happen at a reputable club like CMJ, what a disappointment. I have been more than a regular guest at CMJ, I visited two or three times per month for the last three months. I guess because I am not a member of the club, I shall be treated like a second-class. I have second thought to visit CMJ ever again, even though I have been enjoying my visits with the beautiful hostesses at the establishment. I hope I can get explanation from CMJ management for this overbooking issue.

yes you can...they advertise on BP and Lyla...they'll ask if you are a member but still book you...you can even book directly with the hostess which i did twice....if they'd do member only, not sure they could stay in business...not everyone is willing to dish out 2 brownbacks to get some privilege and invitation to some events....and i'm sure that members in general don't go every week...

Last time i was there, i booked with the hostess...got there and Adele opened for me....she showed me the room and as i sat down, i get this text asking if i could come 1 hr later...not sure what was going down...i just told her...babe...i'm already sitting in the room....she did show up and made her duties...didn't get the usual oily body rub which was a little disappointing...still she provided some nice service so it wasn't a total let down....that was a couple of months ago and haven't been there since.....

yes you can go in as a guest of a hostess.
you can still book with CMJ directly with Jas and she'll take you anyway...maybe in this particular case there was come conflict booking between Jas and the hostess...i'd put that on the hostess's hands because they should advise Jas if they book themselves...probably omitted telling her and Jas booked someone as well...

Not the most polite way of doing it, but it sounds like they are telling you to join or take a hike.

You are kind of abusing the guest system going that frequently.

Can I ask why you haven't just joined since you go often?

I've never been to CMJ myself however have thought about it.

i went 4 times in in 6 months or so....big deal...and what kind of abuse would that be...i call ...they agree to book me and i pay.....if they didn't want to book non-members, all they have to do is say so in their ads or tell you when you call...but they don't because they want your business ..the member will always be privileged over non-members and that's normal, doesn't mean they won't take you or that showing up as a non-member is 'abusing the guest system'....and since they now allow hostesses to book, they should now ensure that booking don't conflict..

you cannot say abusing the guest system as solo223 said if they do member only, not sure if they could stay in business. I go there frequently just for the time being, but not forever.

Im not a member but don't you get a session with your membership? I am confused as to why you aren't a member. Also I thought you had to be a member to go.

I hear ya, but if a guest is booked and later on a member wants that same appointment, you can't complain as a guest for them giving away your appointment.

I don't think they should offer guest option at all as it sure cause overbooking and creates two classes of clients : first-class for members and second-class for guests.

then they should notify you that they can't take you or offer you a different hostess....what it boils down to is if they allow the hostess to book independently of Jasmine, then they should make sure the bookings aren't conflicting with what Jas takes on....either keep a spare hostess on site but when they just have 2 as is often the case, then they shouldn't take on non-members

Sap....i was offered membership first time i called and almost took it but couldn't find the time back then to make the appointment with Jas in the west and the hostess was east......i believe if i recall correctly that you get a 30 minute introductory session with an hostess when you get your tour as a new member...not a bad deal really and i've considered it for a while but never ended up doing it....and haven't gone in a few months...i may end up getting it eventually..i'd hate getting turned away after a booking...if i decide to go back...but i love Breathtaking Vivian so much and i'm comfortable with her

I don't understand why folks go more than once as a guest? CMJ is a well established private members club, the best in the city. I doubt that they would treat 'guests' differently as Jas is very conscious of CMJ's reputation and is very customer-service oriented. Could it be that you booked directly with an MA as a guest and the MA didn't block that time on her calendar for you? Then a member booked online as that time was still available. Only explanation I can come up with !! Their online booking system is amazing, you can see exactly what time slots your preferred MA is available before booking. You can request an e-mail confirmation or a text, if you wish. It's very sophisticated.

If you're concerned about your membership fee, my understanding is that it still includes a session with the hostess of your choice so you may be paying an extra $20 or so for your membership but very worthwhile. If you are frustrated with how your appointment was handled, call Jas or other management and I'm sure they will explain what happened.
CMJ has been around for years and if they treated clients like this on purpose they would not be as successful as they are!

I was surprised to see it as well...Jas is a real pro and i came to the same conclusion as you....the hostess took the booking and didn't report it to Jas....it's not an obligation to become a member...i may still become....i just don't always feel like driving at their east or south end locations, i don't exactly live next door to them....for the few times i did go, i booked 3 times directly with Jas...and only once with the hostess

I'm not going to knock anybodies business, but i disagaree about being the best in the city. I went twice after paying my membership fee. Both times they had no idea who i even was. they still dont know me. I had 2 of the most lack luster, un interested massages i've ever had in my life. It was enough to turn me off MP's completely. No word from the manager at all...not a peep.

So I just sink all my cash into SP's and strip clubs. Ya, its dumb to sink money into strip clubs, but believe it or not I get far more satisfaction and milage there than I ever did at an MP.

i guess it's the luck of the draw...i can't complain myself but if i want a real rub, i go see Vivian...if i want something else...i go to some SP i feel will give me good mileage and it usually costs barely a green over the MA price....

Just to clarify that I did not book with the Hostess directly, I booked with the CMJ main phone number, but I was not sure who answered my phone for booking.
I understand Jasmine read threads of this board but still did not get any explanation from her.

i really don't get why paying 2 brownbacks is such a big deal...its a one time thing (every year after i think its like 10.00). You end up getting a half hour session as part of it and i have gotten my money's worth from the parties from the ability to pick and choose 2 beautiful ladies to have in a duo. Those parties are great without the pressure you get at a strip club.

if you go that much i would recommend you do sign up and go to one or two of their parties...they are well worth it (assuming you don't have an issue with other guys seeing your face)

i was treated like a king when i went there for my introduction and every time i go to their parties. As well if you go a bit early to your appointment every time i have gotten the option to have other ladies come in and introduce themselves.

actually now that i think about it....don't pay the fee..you will end up with too many beautiful, smart ladies you will want to see.

thanks for the advice...lol....not paying the fee and ending up with too many pretty girls and smart ladies is just my thing.....still to be clear...no one ever said it was a big deal, with the 30 minutes session, it's not unreasonable....

I don't think there is a limit to how many times you can go as a guest and the system allows MA's to find their own clients through other advertising mechanisms (Twitter, BP, CL, etc.) and book them themselves into the sophisticated scheduling system, I am guessing in this case the OP's session was not booked in the system, which I think was an anomaly, I don't think guests are likely to get bumped or treated as second class citizens. Nor are guests abusing the system...the system is to allow guests to be booked by the MA's directly...where is the abuse? I have been a few times as a guest and never had an issue. Clearly there are benefits to being a member, you get invited to the parties, you can book MA's yourself and you can browse the profiles on their site and you can book MA's that do not advertize themselves. The costs are pretty clear...the initial membership fee is $70 ($200-$130) and the ongoing costs are $10 per annum. If you are someone that likes variety then membership might be right, if you are more into an "indy style" MA, where you connect with an MA and get to know them over text / Twitter then perhaps the guest route is best.
