Disappointing experience by Allison at Bilss - Luna massage.

Had wonderful 1st session last month at Bliss with Alison !! but today regretted to switch over from CMJ to Alo massage after getting disappointing treatment from Luna massage's spa manager. Since last month tried to book appointment with Alison after office hours but her weird schedule of not working after 3 pm is difficult for working folks. Being a holiday today booked her at 2 PM and got confirmation mail on Tuesday itself that my appointment is confirmed at 2 pm on Friday with Alison. However yesterday night about 10:30 pm got message that there is double booking so I can manage between 9 to 12? which I saw today around 12:30 so I replied back and got SORRY reply from LUNA massage.

Jiz...my holiday plan is completely screwed up... I think CMJ is the best spa ever, they inform you well in advance if there is such kind of mistake and over all I got message from LUNA spa manager that this is not management mistake coz I have changed the day from Thursday to Friday, yes initially it was typo then immediately I had rectified by sending another message that not Thursday but the Friday coz of holiday.... so this is resulting to big NO for Alo or Luna massage again. Pls put -1 in our google spreadsheet since I could not put -1 for Alison in the google spread sheet "https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ITNmAVBx-5urkT1ablChv6IFbZyhmhcwPdkHLA6ig_4/edit#gid=2010527459" .

How is this a disappointing experience BY Alison? Was she doing the booking?
Coz Alison screwed it up and both are not on the same page of bookings, its a fault of Alison and the spa manager also, again nothing personal just wanted to inform my friends here, I had the my great FIRST and last session with her and unfortunately I can not trust her anymore.

Sounds like a screw up. But doesn't sound like Alison at all, not from my experiences with her. Up to you where you want to take your business, but things like this can happen. Hopefully it doesn't, but when these sorts of things happen to me, I take it up directly with the person, and with one exception the person at the other end makes up for it, especially if it was an innocent screw up. That might work for you the next time something like this happens to you. Just saying. Peace.

Wow really? One misunderstanding and you throw her under the bus? Have you never made a mistake similar to that? I know I occasionally mix up days, apts etc for work or life and have to apologize for missing a meeting or being late - happens to everyone. Just my opinion but I think you are being a bit harsh. Agree it is disappointing when you are looking forward to something and plans change but it happens from time to time. Hope the rest of your day is better! :)

Joe I explained you what happen here is a copy of my email : You had your appt for Thursday and then you switched to Friday. Alison forgot about a previous appt she txt me yesterday and I emailed you right away. ( have email) was sent at 5 pm yesterday .

I'm sorry about your this but at this is not management fault.


Unfortunately due to personal circumstances Alison is only available until 3 Monday to Friday. And I completely understand if you prefer other establishment

Hope going online makes you feel better I already apologized but is nothing else I can do at this point


P.D if punishing someone for an honest mistake makes you feel better I think is right for you to vent online. That just shows the kind of person you are. You don't need to threat us with not coming back simple don't do it. We explained situation an emailed you a day before what else could we done?

Sir !! think about last one month I was waiting for good session and today I got such disappointment over all I am getting message last night which I saw this noon then what you expect?? this is not threatening just wanted to share this unexpected experience with my dear ones where I get heads up to add some more fun in our lives... !! I fully understand the situation just wanted to get your opinions plus there were three days to inform me about cancellation still it happens ...no big deal, only I wanted to tell you guys that make sure before going to session just double check with Luna thats all.... !!

I would prefer you to write a pm so I could of make it up to you, but insted, you decided to humiliate me and Alexandria on a public site.
To be honnest , I don't know what to think about what you wrote here.
Just to clarify , My schedule is 9am-3pm because I have responsabilities after 3pm. I understand that your job is a priority to you but I also have priorities outside of work.. You are free to think that my schedule is "weird" , but next time before Making a jugement maybe you should ask ..
Also , Alexandria's doing an excellent job booking the girls of 6 spas everyday. She is humain and I am also humain so no it is not impossible to make a mistake.. I don't think she was rude to you and you also said that you had a great experience with me the first time .. I guess that I made you feel precious , anought to have the desire to come see me again , so I guess I am not so bad ..
I will assume that you had a bad day , maybe you are under stress and our mistake was maybe the drop that you couldn't take , but please try not to lapidate us for one mistake.
We are always trying our best to make everybody happy and I sincerely don't think that we deserve to be treated like we are the worse spa in Ottawa ..

Please do not feel so backed into a corner that you need do that! Next time, read the responses and just brush it off!

Again...I don't know why ppl are reacting so bad...this community is to share our experiences bad or good, neither I blamed anybody nor I accused I just shared my experience what happened today and ruined long weekend because of mis-management and lack of communication, coz of this discussion hopefully not only LUNA but other massage parlours will not repeat such incidents. I have already said I had wonderful first (and last) session with Alison and today it was my bad, if I hurt anybody I am so sorry... if this is the case that you guys feel like I am dick... I would not have written my experience, I have read such postings before therefore thought of sharing with you...its my mistake, I would not have shared this with such friends who are treating me dick coz this has not happened to them.... if they would have got ready for such wonderful session after creating lot of drama to attend this session with their family members, yes its not easy to step out of the house for such activities especially during weekend so you have create some case (drama) to step out from your home and got screwed like this then they would have understand the disappointment and frustration. I am extremely sorry for this....! I was not expecting such huge response just in couple of hrs. and love for me.... hats off to you guys....but I repeat that please make sure with Spa-Manager or check again before the session with luna for sure.

I think the moral of the story is: stop and think before reacting.
People nowadays are too quick to react due to social media/forum etc.

What Alison said is true a short PM and let everything be handled in pvt. But I guess OP needed to de-stress and he didn't get the session he wanted.

Anyway looks like things are solved.

Agree 100%. I haven't had the chance to meet Alison yet. From her posts here and elsewhere, she sounds like an intelligent, reasonable and a sweet person. I met Alexxandria socially once when a mutual friend of ours introduced us at ALO west, and she appeared to be a lovely, smart and reasonable person as well. They will be the last persons who I think would upset a client and ruin their business.
