To those who knew him from this board and from the old Terb parties, I am sad to say he passed away Tuesday night.

Miranda, I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Dirk Pitt.

While we never met in person we chatted many times at length in erChat about the character and the author from which he chose his handle. We shared a common interest and admiration for the author (Clive Cussler).
