Several

There's several restaurants on Front St. (The street that borders Rogers Centre on the north side.) Just start walking east and you'll find some casual restaurants like Lone Stars, East Side Marios, Loose Moose, Jack Astors, etc.

If you want a bit more upscale (not much mind you) try Milestones. It's just alittle north of the Skydome on John Street.

Also there's Wayne Gretzky close to the Rogers Centre too.

Enjoy the game.

Why do you think he bought the building. Yes the $25,000,000 price tag was a steal, but mostly because everything he does is done to help increase brand awareness.

Personally I don't have an issue with him calling it "Rogers", but I would have preferred Rogers Field, Rogers Stadium, even The Rogers Dome. Rogers Centre sounds like a name for a 20,000 seat arena, not a 50,000 seat stadium. IMHO.

Good Place Near Ted's Place

I like Ted's Place better ... don't you? It sounds more intimate and friendly.

Badali's on Front is good. Food is decent and the servers are all Smoke Shows. Upscale Roadhouse. Downscale Trattoria.

Armadilloes next door is good too. A little more casual.

Two steeets north is King. If you walk up Blue Jays Way to King and hang a right their is a plethora of restaurants there. Many decent and reasonably priced.

Have fun!

All those restaurants on Front east of York are crap. Same old same old.

With so many great restaurants in town, why go to some Tex Mex place on Front.

A bit further of walk and you are at King and Spadina and there are lots of great places around there.

- Lee

- Blow Fish

- Crush

- Sushur (very pricie)

As far as the Rogers Center goes, it's still Sky Dome to me.

anywhere I hang my hat
Thanks for your help.

Ended up at a Scottish Pub on John & King (I beleive) across John from the Prince of Wales. Wednesday special, Voodoo Pasta, pasta & grilled chicken with a Cajun kick. I would recomend it.

champ and nato75's have good recommendations.

Next time you are in town, if you are into views, Hooters is up the street at Richmond. (girls not my type but most like them).

A good pub just a bit north of King is Duke of Argle, Nova Scotian beer and great Lobster rolls during certin time of year, very reasonable for lunch.
