I am 3rd generation Liberal and thought it would be an easy task today. However with pencil in hand, I just could not do it. Guess I'll be avoiding the parents for the next four years.

I grew up hating people or groups that insisted and even berated people for not voting. Why? Before you answer, the ones touting this are the politicians who need the vote to get elected and then run rampant while waving their mandate.
Oh - if you don't vote you have no right to complain! Piss off - I have every right to complain whether I voted or not.

The provincial is sad because 99% of the coverage is party coverage and has nothing to do with that skills of quality of the candidate in my riding. You cannot vote for "your guy" because the party is what is being voted on.
They should have ballots with the party colour only - no names. Period.

Yep! I didn't vote. I proudly refused my ballot Stating my full name and the reason I am refusing my ballot was because no political party is worthy of my vote. I then waited for the returning officer to make note of it and file it in the envelope with all the other refused ballots.

Exactly what I did as well (decline ballot). It did cause some confusion at my polling station as they didn't quite know what to do about it until some supervisor came over.

It would be so much easier to just add a None of the Above option to the ballot.

Sorry,...this may offend,...but voting Green,...is NOT voting.

But,...if you are voting Green to make a statement to the main 3 parties,...I understand.

Liberals out in front with projected 57 seats a majority. Hudak can go fuck off! Now it's Harper's turn!
