Lately there have b several threds by "johns" 'bout the risk of STD"s from patronising prostitutes.
Something that worries me & I done not think have got enuff attenshun on this subject is the fact of streetwalkers migrating in2 the "escort" side of the "industry" (quote, unquote). "Johns" patronise these "escort" w/o knowing that of fact these "women" have b on the streets.
IMHO, when a "john" make a appointment with a so-call "escort" (prostitute who works in-doors) he is making a conshus decision 2 avoid streetwalkers. "Escorts" charge more; r more picky 'bout who they will *seen*; and r more demanding (sometimes) 'bout the "john" furnishing personal identification b4 the appointment will b "confirm."
Obviously, if price and such were the only "iss-u", then "johns" always would choose streetwalkers over "escorts." The fact most "johns" choose "escorts" over streetwalkers, instead, shown us that "johns" think streetwalkers have 2 many liabilities and r 2 b avoided. Streetwalkers r likely 2 have used IV drugs, 2 b lesbian (not bi), 2 have b "sexually abuse" as a youth, and 2 generally have chips on their shoulder the size of the Twin Towers (pre 9/11;-) Contrariwise, "escorts" tend 2 b more well-adjusted and r in the "biz" temporarily 2 earn sum moola. Or at least, that is the "john's" thinking.
Having blatted all that, what happens when streetwalkers migrate off the streets and in2 the agencies and such? They may do(odle) this 2 avoid LE crack-downs or whateva. Now the "john" thinks he is paying 4 a "escort"-he is paying the "escort" price, that is 4 sure. But what he really is got is a streetwalker in "escort" drag. He is getting sum1 who has all that baggage (& whateva else she contracted:0) from the streets. Will the agency told him the "girl" they r sending over is a former streetwalker? Will the "pro" herself b so 4thcuming?
I seriously wonder how many of the "escorts" on TERB r fomer streetwalkers? Do(odle) her "clients" known this?
Personally, I would not *seen* a "escort" who was a former streetwalker. If I founded out the "escort" I patronising was a streetwalker, I would stop seeing her, period. I suspect most "johns" feel the same way.
