I've actually gone dual sim on my phone. That eliminates all the "no text app" problems as well. Just enable/disable the second sim as required.I would recommend using the burner app, turn off all notifications, siri, and password protect it. Now you are not using your real number. I delete the app when not using it, just login again when I want to hobby (the download and login takes about a minute). No random texts that will end your relationship. Good luck

Having said that - it's an insurance policy. Any provider texting or calling you randomly who does not have your prior consent is probably one you shouldn't be seeing.
