I went to my favorite Torrent sight, Demonoid, and I received the following message from Demonoid when I went to sign in:

We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and We need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. If you reside in Canada, that is the reason you are being redirected to this message. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience.

Anyone else get this. Too bad, a great sight. I didn't think it was illegal to download in Canada for private use.

Sorry Papi, I have been out of town for the last few days and I have not been on Terb. When I logged in, new threads are usally highlighted, I didn't see this one! Thanks for opening my eyes, and mods please delete this thread!

A side note to this ongoing battle/debate. Since Radiohead alloweed fans to download their music based on what they think is appropriate, on an interview they said that most popular musicians make most of their revenue thru concerts and merchandizing anyway.
