Deleting conversation/cleaning out Trash

To my surprise, I saw that the Trash folder in my mailbox was still full of PMs I had deleted years ago. Keep looking through mailbox options to find how to get rid of these and current conversations for good. Please advise. Thanks.

Within your trash folder, you should be able to select them then delete permanently (bottom of the screen).

I tried it...
You have to select at least one conversation for deletion before that bar at the bottom of the screen pops up.

Thanks for the help EC. The bar and the options it provides not easy to find even when knowing it's there. But it works like a charm. Fun to look back at PMs you thought were long gone but stir memories. Then, with a few clicks, they're gone for good.
