Seem to be having a problem with deleting browser history on my phone. I open my browser, go into Settings --> Privacy --> Delete Personal Data and check everything, i.e. Browsing History, Cache, Cookies, etc. Initially, it seems to work as when I type start to type in a website, no history comes up or none of my bookmarks are suggested. However, after an hour or two I will go back into the browser and start typing in a website and certain sites show up again (i.e. terb)

I've double checked and I haven't accidentally bookmarked terb so I'm wondering if there is a fix for this. Anyone else having this problem. Any help is much appreciated.

Delete cookies too. Chrome also syncs data to the cloud and shares it between browsers so delete it on ALL connected browsers.

I have a BlackBerry z10.

It's pretty easy to delete the history, BUT

Even after I have deleted the history, the keyboard remembers which site I check out the most. I open the browser and the keyboard comes up and above the T key is the word TERB. This despite clearing the history and cookies.

I hav no idea how to clear it's memory on this one.

I have decided the only hope is to do without history, cookies and such, using the Privacy/Security settings in my browsers, and disabling auto-fill/correct/suggest wherever possible. Although Google is now convinced I'm American in the mid-west, I've found no other downside.

On a Samsung, if you press and hold the word when it comes up, a menu message pops up asking if you want to delete it.
