Anyone hear about Deion Sanders coming up with a great new invention? Wait for it - The Hot Dog Machine. Only 50 bucks plus S&H !!!!!!!!!!

What? Not a great idea? Geez, I can think of maybe 4 machines in my house that can cook hot dogs. Let's see......... there is the microwave. Then the toaster oven. The BBQ. Then there is the pot on top of my stove. Not to mention the cookie sheet for my oven.

C'mon Blueline, if you're going to steal Jim Rome's material at least disguise it a little better. Not that I don't completely agree that Deion is a joke, but don't rip Rome off completely.

I used to really hate Jim Rome's show but its kind of grown on me. The thing that's true is how much of a shame it would be for anyone to send $50 to Deion for that stupid hot dog cooking machine. How tough is it to cook a hot dog?

As Rome often says, you will not like the show after listening to it the first time. I also hated it. Then one day I had it on and it clicked in and I got it. I listen to it almost every day now, either at noon on my days off or at night.

For me, it is the best show on radio. I know a lot will not agree, but it is 3 hours of great entertainment. I have heard some of the funniest stories on his show. Like pizza guy who got held up by robbers carrying pumpkins. I lmfao for days after that one, cause I was doing a similar job as a courier delivering beer and liquor on the day I heard it. Then the Jay Stew story of when he was a pizza guy and pretended to be robbed so he could take the money and go party.

His recent takes on the Michael Jackson trial and his character witnesses have been priceless.

I cant stand too much of the guy...he pretty much hates on everything. I dont hear him say too many positive things!

Rome can be funny, even borderline insightful at times. What really drives me up the wall about him is that he feels the need to repeat himself two, three or even four times over. Is it that important for him to have a three hour show when he's only got an hour and a half of material?

Van Smack himself, is off with his wife and newborn baby. I heard that she gave birth recently.

I know a lot just do not like him - period. Took me a while to get on board with his program. I admit that he often keeps hammering away at a topic, but sometimes it can be funny.

Guess I switched to his show from the Fan590 when they brought in the Chuckster in the afternoon slot. Seems to be a lot of basketball talk now and I am not a fan anymore. I also got sick of Hogan, so the switch to WGR55 at noon worked for me. If I am working during the day, I find it on CHML900 at 7pm........

When you have some free time, visit his website and go back into the archives and read some of the old emails/takes from the clones. I did that last night and I was in tears laughing so hard.
