Wow. haven't watched it since I was a kid, seemed they only showed the "Eggbert" episode in the USA. I'm watching some kids network now and there was a gay marriage and two guys even kissed..... Don't think Jesus is going to like that!

Degrassi is probably the greatest show on tv right now. I watch it 4 times a day on the N channel.

I only rediscovered degrassi when J & [not so] silent Bob did a guest appearance recently.
I still say that Dylan wasn't right for Marco - the homosexual cutesy buffoon just wasn't doing it for me. It's far more productive to Marco's growth that he spends his summer working on the AIDs cause in Africa.
The way it's addressing "real life" issues, we should see Manny become an incall in future seasons.

The one I saw today had the gay wedding, and he beat up his father, I think it was his father. The guy with the shaved head. This is the first time I've ever seen a new one.... It ended in the hospital, where that girl still likes him. I wonder how he's going to recover for being the reason why Rick shot Jimmy. I think they're eventually going to have Spinner kill himself because of all the deamons he's fighting.
Who knows where things are gonna go with the Craig/Ashley/Manny love triangle now that Craig has screwed the pooch with his bi-polar disorder. I think Craig will eventually end up with Manny because Manny is just a wild and carzy sex cat who wants Craig's cream shake.

The bald guy is Joey Jeremiah. Joey's taken over custody of Craig ever since Craig killed his dad a few seasons back.
Part of the beauty of Degrassi is that a lot of the times it's not believeable.There was an episode where Jimmy and Mr Simpson found some pot in the washroom, and got so high smoking that they wound up making out in the gymnasium together. When Mr Raditch found them,all he did was suspend the two of them for a week. I know it's not very realistic, but man oh man does it make for interesting tv.
Yeah, Emma has really grown up to be quite the model daughter and student. Except for the time she would go off into the woods and give older guys blow jobs so she could get bracelets that showed how popular she one with the boys. Boy oh boy was Mr Simpson/Snake/Archie pissed when he found out.
I'm hoping they bring back Yik Yu. He was great on the original Degrassi, and I think it would be just swell if they brought him back as an adult film producer who is trying to recruit Manny into the world of adult films.

That's a long time back, Farrah. But the real original show was even earlier -- Kids of Degrassi Street. One of the few actors still around from those days is Stacey Mistyisian (sp). None of the the Kids characters carried over to DGJH but characters introduced in the Jr. High series did.Farrah Foxxx said:Degrassi Rocks!
