How fuckin ironic. Commemorating war in a John Lennon thread. Only on TERB ... or maybe not.

I have to agree, Rev. As far out and idealistic as some of his philosophies were, it's people like him that maintain some form of balance in the world (reciprocal alignment).

I still remember as a teenager hearing about his death, staring blankly at the wall and wandering about aimlessly trying to make sense of it. Then taking the day off school, buying some ... well ... and heading down to Nathan Philip's square.

He wasn't the only dreamer ...

I remember hearing about it as I was falling asleep. (the radio was on), Then in the morning the reality struck. It was a strange drive in to work that day. And I remember the tribute shows in the evening. Very sad. John Lennon is an important figure in history to me. I'm a dreamer too....
