My recommendation would be to try and do acupuncture as well as IMS (intramuscular stimulation) for lower back pain. Also, dry cupping can aid with pain. All three have worked in the past for me and there are many physiotherapy and holistic places that offer the service.

Have been dealing with back pain a few years now. Finding a total cure for it may be difficult, however, finding solutions to reduce the pain may be another approach.

One that has worked for me over the last 2 years is getting a ‘restful’ sleep on a mattress that supports the spine as it should to maintain it’s form while providing a balance weight distribution, as they say a good night’s sleep is very regenerative.

The investment in a Dunlop organic rubber mattress, with a suitable frame, have eased my pain significantly, after trying many other options.
As I said before, having osteo arthritis of the lower spine, my rheumatologist said " there is no cure, JUST LIVE WITH IT" came very close to punching her in the head.

Unless there is structural damage, the best way to deal with lower back pain is the Sergeant Barnes method - take the pain.

I used to have chronic back problems. My former personal trainer believed in tough love she put me on the torture device. I was in agony for days, cursing her out...and then it was gone. No back problems since.

I suffer chronic lower back pain. From previous sports injuries as well as sitting at a desk for hours upon hours day after day. I need to get back in a routine of morning stretches and regular physio but life has just been too hectic the past few months.

Kirk you need one of those stand up platform desks, constantly sitting makes your abs flabby putting strain on your back muscles. If you have no structural damage, get a personal trainer. I'm not recommending the Roman Chair for you, just in case it doesn't work. Time to work on your core bud, your namesake had washboard abs.

I am considering getting a temperpedic foam mattress to alleviate lower back pain and sciatica pain down to my leg. Does anyone here have a temperpedic mattress and does it help with alleviating back pain and sciatica pain? Am looking to get this in firm as I feel my current mattress is too soft which is the problem.

Belly dancing did the trick for me, only took like 16 classes ( 8 and 8 weeks summer and fall). I practice once in a while.
